With the Sal 2 w/ Crepe Sole, Yuketen has deconstructed the timeless clog style, reducing it to its rudiments and fundamental beauty. Yuketen’s Sal 2 w/ Crepe Sole is a simple work of craftsmanship with elevated components befitting of the nature of handcrafted leather sandal.
Each sandal is entirely hand-cut and hand-constructed from select cuts of soft and silky cow suede from Opera leather from Tuscany, Italy who have been specialized in making suede and flesh-out leather since the 70s. Each of the suede that are used on the Bostonian is hand-selected and hand-lasted one by one to make sure that only a good part of the skin is used and to make use of the material. The full leather lining details offers a better comfort and durability.
The three-dimensional footbed constructed with the toe bar, arch support and heel cup increases fitting in the arch and heel as well as lessen foot fatigue, and helps the weight to be distributed more evenly across the foot and accommodate the distinct shape of the wearer.
