Sizing Guide: Yuketen moccasin styles are true to US standard size. We recommend checking your shoe size in the New Balance Made in USA models (ex. 993, 996, 998) or on the Brannock Device. 

Please note that this is just a sizing reference. Every single person has different shape of foot. Thus, to determine the most accurate size for your foot, we suggest visiting a Yuketen stockist if there is one near you for fitting advice and the opportunity to try on an actual pair. A really unique, Made in USA, hybrid boot. Half genuine moccasin construction and half boot construction, for an amazing fit but still rugged build. These boots are built for Fishing and Hiking but provide all-day comfort and the quality, exotic buffalo leather and fine craftsmanship make these boots stylish enough to wear out to a nice dinner.

The Vamp and Plug ( forefoot ) has been constructed using genuine moccasin construction, wrapping the foot with leather ensuring a more sock-like fit that will mold to the wearers foot with use, and features hand-sewn detailing. The back of the shoe is built using boot construction for a stronger, re-enforced back that will support the wearer more than a softback moccasin. Compare the back construction of this boot with one of our shoes that have a full moccasin construction like the Blucher or the Canoe Moc. You will notice that this boot has a heel counter, back stay, and pull tab for a more structured look and feel.

The design concept here is based on 1900’s fishing and game boots, refined and taken to the next level, Yuketen style. We hope this boot will evoke a sense of nostalgia with its traditional design sensibilities and artisanal craftsmanship.

The upper leather is Horween Buffalo shoulder leather, please take a look at the leather and notice the distinct and beautiful natural grain pattern. In order to preserve this beautiful texture and natural grain pattern Buffalo leather is not stretched like cowhide and therefore is much thicker and has higher durability and strength.

The Brass eyelets and leather shoelaces add to this boots charm and style and ensure that not a single detail has been overlooked when designing this boot.
