Sizing Guide: Yuketen moccasin styles are true to US standard size. We recommend checking your shoe size in the New Balance Made in USA models (ex. 993, 996, 998) or on the Brannock Device.
Ex. If your size is US 9D in the Made in USA New Balance shoes, you will most likely find a comfortable fit in the US 9E in our moccasin shoe/boot.
If you are comparing with Nike athletic shoes, we recommend sizing down a half size for our moccasins.
Ex. US size 9E in our moccasins, US size 9.5 in Nike athletic shoes.
Please note that this is just a sizing reference. Every single person has different shape of foot. Thus, to determine the most accurate size for your foot, we suggest visiting a Yuketen stockist if there is one near you for fitting advice and the opportunity to try on an actual pair. If you are unsure about the sizing, please contact us for advice before purchasing.
Yuketen true moccasin footwear’s are genuine handsewn by highly skilled and experienced leather artisans who take great pride and fulfillment in their work. Yuketen true moccasins are made like socks with leather which cradles the bottom of the foot for an incredible comfort sensation.
These shoes are handmade in Maine, U.S.A. with the hand-selected cuts of pebbled-grain leather tanned in the U.S.A. Yuketen incorporates this leather on several styles because waxed leather vintages more quickly than other leathers. After only a few months of wear the footwear will appear as though they’ve been worn for years.
Yuketen’s signature 100% rubber boat sole with grooveless siping is stitched securely to the moccasin leather vamp and Yuketen’s full leather insole offers unparalleled comfort with genuine moccasin style.
The three eyelet boat shoe silhouette is perfect for classic summertime style on land and an even better accompaniment while boating on the water. Yuketen recommends the “yacht lacing” technique as shown in the profile photo. The “yacht lacing” technique is used by veteran yachtsmen for improved adjustability on 360 degree lace-through boat shoes to provide a more secure fit in wet conditions.
