Elegant in its simplicity, the Native Slip-On is a straight-forward moccasin-construction silhouette made with craftsman construction and premium components.

Each pair of Yuketen’s American-made genuine moccasin-construction footwear is hand-sewn by leather artisans in the northeastern United States who have mastered their craft through decades of experience. The American-tanned scotch-grain leather upper is hand-punched and stitched with awl, needle, and thread on Yuketen's proprietary last. The base of the vamp has been cinched to create an integumentary fit, while the dexterous skill by which our handsewers "gather" leather ensures the secure stitching of every shoe. The Native Slip-on also enjoys Yuketen’s iconic sawtooth pinking on the plug, backstay and collar.

Although the Native Slip-on is one of Yuketen’s lower-profile silhouettes, it still enjoys the structural benefits of a vegetable-tanned leather tuck and steel shank. These components form a stable bridge along the arch of the foot, distributing weight more evenly across the footbed for increased comfort. The shoe’s upper sits atop a 100% natural rubber boat sole which is sewn to the vamp leather, allowing the shoes to be resoled for years of use.
