The Concho Moc brings together the proportions of a Venetian with overtly Yuketen detailing. The pinked collar, backstay and plug, Native American embossing and nickel concho centerpiece make for a stylized slip-on bolstered by the fine handiwork of the hand-sewn toe, overcast and heel.

Each moccasin is built from hand-selected cuts of Horween Chromexcel leather joined together to offer unparalleled comfort and support. Each moccasin is hand-punched and stitched with awl, needle, and thread on Yuketen's proprietary last by handsewers working in our Maine factory. The base of the vamp has been cinched to create an integumentary fit, while the dexterous skill by which our handsewers "gather" leather ensures the secure stitching of every shoe. The throat of this unlined shoe is wrapped with a single collar piece, avoiding the blistering commonly associated with collar-seam stitching. Chromexcel is a buttery, malleable "pull-up" leather born of a unique double-tanning process of vegetable and chrome treatments, which imbues the leather with pleasantly aromatic liquor notes. Its suppleness, revealing of lighter tones in its oiled surface when stretched, makes it particularly suitable to moccasin construction.

The embossing on each moccasin is borrowed from Native American jewelry, as are the nickel conchos crowning each tip. Made in the USA, each concho is impressed with one of five Native American designs. Sawtooth pinking along the upper portion of the tip and on the heel seam cover completes the embellishment.

Full leather insoles, leather tucks, and steel shank reinforcement increases fitting in the arch and heel as well as lessens foot fatigue by forming a stable bridge between the heel and ball of the owner's foot. Our Yuketen signature tucks and insoles are made from 100% vegetable-tanned leather and will naturally accommodate the distinct shape of the wearer. Yuketen’s 100% natural rubber boat sole anchors the shoe and is replaceable for years of continuous wear.
