Yuketen’s Antler Moc with Concho offers a clean-cut Venetian silhouette with uniquely Yuketen detailing. A baseball-stitched toe and heel, American-made nickel and turquoise conchos and elk Antler centerpiece make the Antler Moc with Concho a highly decorated slip-on.
Each pair of Yuketen’s American-made genuine moccasin-construction footwear is hand-sewn by leather artisans in the northeastern United States who have mastered their craft through decades of experience. The Antler Moc with Concho also boasts baseball stitching on the toe and heel of the shoe; named so because it resembles the cross-hatch seams of a baseball. The “baseball stitch” hand-sewing technique is more difficult and time-consuming than the traditional hand-sewn technique. The shoe’s upper is rendered in Horween’s waxed flesh-out leathers, giving it exceptional water repellent properties and an ability to vintage more quickly than other shoes. American-made nickel and turquoise conchos line the collar of the shoe, while elk antler tip centerpieces decorate the top of the vamp.
Although the Antler Moc with Concho is one of Yuketen’s lower-profile silhouettes, it still enjoys the structural benefits of a vegetable-tanned leather tuck and steel shank. These components form a stable bridge along the arch of the foot, distributing weight more evenly across the footbed for increased comfort. The shoe’s upper sits atop a 100% natural rubber Boat Sole which is sewn to the vamp leather, allowing the shoes to be resoled for years of prolonged wear.
