Angler Moc with Crepe Wedge Sole
The Angler Moc draws its name from the style of shoe worn by Maine's freshwater fisherman of the 1950s and 60s. These anglers sought a secure fit in the footwear they brought to their sport and the moccasins they wore were distinct for the placement of the eyestay, which hugged the top of the foot. Yuketen's Angler Moc brings improved vamp construction and arch support to this unmistakably American silhouette, and is finished with 1970s workwear boots detailing.
Each pair of Yuketen’s American-made genuine moccasin-construction footwear is hand-sewn by leather artisans in the northeastern United States who have mastered their craft through decades of experience. Horween’s Buckaroo leather, used for the upper on the Angler Moc, is a rich, three-dimensional leather with excellent pull-up qualities and a supple feel. A full vegetable-tanned leather tuck and midsole work in concert with the shoe’s steel shank to provide structure and arch support atop the replaceable 100% natural crepe rubber outsole which offers superior traction, slip-resistance, and maximum cushion.
